Memorial Park is truly an oasis of fun. It offers something for everyone. Prospect Lake sits in the center of the park and has a trail around it for walking, biking and jogging. You can fish, boat and swim on the lake with the correct licenses issued by the City of Colorado Springs. Memorial Park also has tennis courts, baseball fields, an aquatic center, an ice skating center, basketball courts, sand volleyball, and a bicycle velodrome. And of course there are playgrounds and picnic areas. You will also find Memorial Skate Park, which is the 2nd largest skate park in Colorado at 40,000 square feet.
