Their natural terrain courses will have you launching off of cliffs and send you soaring over steep wooded natural forests. Wishing Star Farm offers year round fun for everyone. They are the largest petting zoo in El Paso County, Colorado. There are 4 miles of trails that take you on an adventure through the Fallen Timbers area, pavilions, playgrounds and a gazebo on the lake. Memorial Park is truly an oasis of fun. It offers something for everyone. Prospect Lake sits in the center of the park and has a trail around it for walking, biking and jogging. You can fish, boat and swim on the lake with the correct licenses issued by the City of Colorado Springs. Memorial Park also has tennis courts, baseball fields, an aquatic center, an ice skating center, basketball courts, sand volleyball, and a bicycle velodrome. And of course there are playgrounds and picnic areas. You will also find Memorial Skate Park, which is the 2nd largest skate park in Colorado at 40,000 square feet. It is open to inline skaters, skateboarders and BMX bikers, and the best part, it is FREE to the public. Visit their website for more information.
